I don't have a position on prophets or even
whether or not it is possible to see the future. I do want to comment on
the inaccuracies being touted about the predictions of Nostridamus. The
critics argue that it is always in hindsight that his predictions are revealed.
I believe this is mostly the case, however I grew up in the 80's with the
belief that New York would be attacked by an Arab nation. This was
because in the 80's there was an interesting HBO movie by Orsen Wells about the
prophecies of Nostridamus. He did the usual, jousting accident, Napolean,
and Hister prophecies, but interestingly, the attack on New York was fortold
maybe not by Nostridamas but by the interpretations of his predictions by Orsen
Wells. The show is now in the unchangeable past, and in it, it fortold
the attack on the New City, by a man wearing a blue turbon. This will
lead to a war which will last 20+ years, and given that this event triggered
the current campaign against fundamentalist Moslims, I think the overall war
will last that long as we go from country to country. I don't know what
Nostridamas saw, but I do know that the critics of this particular event have
misrepresented it.

little old, but
had a nice Jacuzzi suite.
2/26/04 I pay a $100 fine for crossing on to
State park land on my dirt bike. It was originally a misdemeanor but I
got it knocked down to an infraction. In the same court, someone got a
$100 for destroying Mistletoe on State park land. Nice to know that it is
$100 to operate a whorehouse in Maryland.

Ronald Reagan, the most influential person to my beliefs dies at 93.

I credit this man for my success, my respect
for this country, my belief in peace through strength, my blindness to social
classes, my charity, and humility, as well as looking forward to what the
future will bring with excitement. I hope his visions come true; visions
of missile defense systems, and hypersonic space planes, an end to poverty, and
the participation of all in a society that allows the freedom for people to
excel at whatever their individual talents are.
6/8/04 I drove up to Simi Valley and was
fortunate to visit Reagan's casket. The security and the logistics were
amazingly well done. I passed by his casket between 3:00 and 3:30.
6/9/04 Reagan's casket is flown to
D.C. for the official state funeral.

6/16/04 I am told that Willis Allen
passed away on Sunday 6/13/04.
I know all of us have wonderful memories of
Willis. He always had a smirk on his face, and a rowdy sense of humor. I am proud
to have known him, and I value all of the memories of my enjoyable games with
him. He was an extraordinary man, playing polo passed the age of 93.

6/21/04 My goal of being an astronaut
moves a great deal closer with the flight of Spaceship One. The first
private spacecraft, which will soon be carrying paying passengers. As of
right now, I can afford a seat, for the kind of money they are talking about.
Ironicly, this is just 6 months after the 100th anniversary of the Wright
Brothers first flight.
